The logo for the Ngarrindjeri nation tells a story. The inner yellow circle represents the sun, the giver of life. The 18 red dots represent the 18 different clans that make up the Ngarrindjeri nation. The boomerangs represent the five elements of the Ngarrindjeri Cultural framework. The boomerangs and black dots are People of the Ngarrindjeri engaging in traditional dance, ceremony, and story telling. The final blue circles represent Ngarrindjeri old people, the elders, and respect for the past. Together it’s the understanding that all things are connected.
